Hello, very nice web site. We actually came across this particular on Msn, and i am pleased I did. I will definately end up being coming back here more often. Desire I could add to the discussion as well as bring a bit more towards the table, but 'm just taking in just as much info as I will right now. Thank you

It will only affect the Lib/Dem vote if enough people know about this policy.

It seems the vast majority have no idea what they are voting for.

It is a damning indictment of transport policy nationally that despite rising fuel costs and tax the cost of motoring over all continues to get cheaper while the cost of 'public' transport increases - train and bus fares have gone up dramatically in the past 5 years and yet the Government still wants people to switch! Nationalise public transport, make it cheap and efficient and user friendly.

There are a now a number of large vehicle producers - Honda, Renault, Ford to name a few who are working on zero emission vehicles. What happens when these are the norm? There will be no argument on environmental grounds to force people onto public transport so where will the transport planners go then? With the streets grid locked with electric or hydrogen fuel cell vehicles how will congestion be dealt with? Such vehicles are likely to be a major chunk of the national fleet within the next 50 to 100 years and there seems to be no forward thinking to accomodate them.
